Introduction
Welcome to Halo Rentals, your premier destination for car hire services. By accessing www.halorentals.com.au (the “Website”) and using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.
Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Halo Rentals, you must:
Be at least 30 years of age.
Hold a valid driver’s license for the duration of the rental.
Meet our insurance verification criteria.
Rental Agreement
Each rental is subject to a separate Rental Agreement that outlines the specific terms of your rental, including but not limited to the rental period, the vehicle type, and the rental rate. You agree to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was rented, barring normal wear and tear.
Use of Vehicle
The rented vehicle may only be driven by the individual(s) named in the Rental Agreement.
The vehicle shall not be used for illegal purposes, racing, towing, or transporting prohibited substances.
You agree to comply with all local traffic laws and regulations.
Payments and Fees
All rentals require a valid credit card for payment. Charges will include the rental rate, any applicable taxes, and may include additional fees for late returns, damage, or cleaning if necessary.
A security deposit may be required at the time of rental.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time for a full refund.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
Insurance and Liability
Basic insurance coverage is included in your rental. However, you may choose to purchase additional coverage.
You are responsible for any damage to or loss of the rented vehicle during the rental period, subject to the terms of your Rental Agreement and applicable insurance policies.
Pricing and Rate Changes
Price Accuracy
Halo Rentals makes every effort to ensure that all pricing information on www.halorentals.com.au (the “Website”) is accurate and up to date. However, occasionally, prices may be listed incorrectly due to typographical errors, outdated information, or other reasons beyond our control.
Price Changes
Prices and availability of vehicles are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of booking is the final price of your rental, subject to the terms of your Rental Agreement. Halo Rentals reserves the right to adjust prices, offers, and vehicle availability at any time before a booking is confirmed.
Correction of Errors
In the event of a pricing error or discrepancy, Halo Rentals reserves the right to:
Cancel any reservations made with incorrect pricing, with a full refund provided to the customer.
Offer the customer the option to keep their reservation at the correct price, if higher.
Amend the price on the Website without providing specific notice to users.
Notification
Should a pricing error affect your reservation, Halo Rentals will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option to proceed with the corrected price or cancel your reservation without penalty.
Liability
Halo Rentals will not be obligated to provide services at an incorrect price if the error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognized by you as a pricing mistake. We strive to maintain transparent and fair pricing for all our customers.
Acceptance
By using our services and accessing the Website, you acknowledge that pricing errors may occur and agree to the terms outlined in this Pricing and Rate Changes section. Your continued use of the Website after any changes to prices signifies your acceptance of those changes.
Dispute Resolution
